Tony Scott, the director of Top Gun, Man on Fire and True Romance, died on Monday after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Scott was well known and much revered for his work as a Hollywood director who pretty much defined the Hollywood blockbuster experience but he honed his craft directing TV ads.

Here is one of my favourite pieces of his advertising film, commissioned by BMW via  Fallow Minneapolis.
