John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison wrote the Federalist Papers in order to urge New Yorkers to ratify the proposed United States Constitution. The Library of Congress provides easy links to all 85 of them on one page.

These works are definitely worth the time it takes to read and digest them. Unfortunately many people and politicians seem to no longer be persuaded and inspired by the principles of the Constitution and their distillation through the Federalist Papers. Maybe we can help change that by referring to them often–
